My Newest Favorite Blog May 6, 2012
When it comes to home design blogs, I’m like a kid in a candy store! You see a fun comment on one post, go check out her blog and learn about another designer and go check them out. It can go on and on and on… That’s exactly what happened today, when I found Atelier de Campagne!
It isn’t that Johan or Trinidad are funny, or clever. It’s the pictures that do me in! Now, don’t get me wrong. Johan and Trinidad are probably totally charming, but I’ve never met them!
When they aren’t traveling in Europe, filling up a container, they’re stocking their space at a collective they belong to in Soquel, California, or working antique shows around northern California.
I’d give anything to be their personal bell hop, if I could just follow along on one of their buying trips! I’d get their coffee, shine their shoes, and be their driver, getting us all lost, if they’d take me with them!
Their eye for beauty is admirable! I’ve signed up for their blog and hope to attend one of their shows soon!
Check these gentlemen out and let me know if you agree!
Living as a French woman under American skin…it’s all so confusing!
Cheers!,
Barbara
In Paris, they call me “Trixie”!
I would love to shop their stuff. Darn live too far away again.
Trust me, there are as many or more chances to shop all over the country. Especially the south! At least the “window shopping” is fun!
I really love the Atelier de Campagne blog, I have floowed them for a few months. I would love to get to one of their truck load sales. They have the most wonderful items from Europe. I live in Canada, so would need to plan ahead to get to one and then figure out how to ship anything home. I love their style.
Where have I been? Everyone seems to know them, but me! 🙂
(I fixed the link to their site.)
I love their products too – and what incredible photos! Beautiful. Barbara, thanks so much for your nice comment about my post about privacy…I really appreciate it. If I were at a different stage in my life (ie my kids were grown) my decision would probably have been different too! Hope you’re settling in well at home again – your trip looked amazing!
Sounds like a great recommendation from you…off to explore.
Have a great Monday.
The link at the top isn’t working?
