Today Barbara has a fun and affordable project that is just perfect for Spring! In this video you will learn how to decoupage a picture frame using Fusion Mineral Paint products and floral print napkins. Yes, napkins!! Let’s take a look at the supplies you’ll need to recreate this project.
Supplies you’ll need for the how to decoupage tutorial:
Fusion Mineral Paint – Barbara used the color Brook all over the picture frame in the tutorial.
Iron Orchid Design Crackle Stamp & Champlain Fusion Mineral Paint – Used to create a crackle affect on the raised portions of the frame.
Tough Coat – Fusion’s Tough Coat is a matte wipe-on poly that is used as a durable top coat for high traffic furniture pieces. As you can see from the video, you can also use it as a decoupage medium.
Decoupage & Transfer Gel – You can also use Fusion’s Decoupage & Transfer Gel product to get the same results!
Staalmeester Brush – Staalmeester brushes are of the highest quality and what we prefer to use at The Treasured Home. When properly cared for, a Staalmeester can last for 10+ years.
Floral Print Napkins – These can be found for very cheap at a number of stores. Be sure to remove the backing before you begin using them for your decoupage project.
Sand Paper – You’ll use a small amount of sand paper to remove excess pieces of napkin from the edges of your project. Only do this once you have allowed everything to dry for at least 30 minutes.
