Estate Sale on the River March 30, 2012
Oh my! I absolutely love a good estate sale and today, Lora, the Head Honcho at Veranda Antiques called, to let me know there was a great one, close to home! I dropped everything and made a “bee line” for this wonderful home on the American River!
Does the picture give you any clues as to the treasures I’d find inside? No, I didn’t photograph the home itself, but the backyard, looking out on the river, with a small pool below, is my vision of heaven!
After grabbing these two lamps, I returned home with as much a I could fit into my little wagon.
Aren’t they wonderful? I love the brass patina and warm, rich glow of these beauties!
I’m not sure if it’s Mexican or Italian, but I love this pot!
I don’t know anything about this mustard colored pot, but it looks great on our island!
By the way, the sale continues tomorrow on Coda Lane, in Carmichael! You can’t miss it!
Well, that’s about it for Friday night. Tomorrow’s going to be wet and wild here, in the River City. If you’re looking for a reason to get out of the house this weekend, stop by Veranda Antiques, where shopping solves everything!
Until next time,
Barbara
