Hello, darling!

Last weekend, you showed us lots of love, helping us make room for new Spring arrivals.  We are so grateful!  

This wall used to display the Iron Orchid Designs product. Now, we’ve moved the IOD product closer to the moulds and paint and are using this space for more clothing.

By the way, the new Spring Collection of Iron Orchid Designs will be released Friday, March 15th at 9:30! You can watch the sisters on their Facebook page and their YouTube channel, as they tell you all about the new designs! We’ll follow-up at the shop, at 10:30, giving you a chance to play with some of the new product!

Kantha-love!

Kantha means “patch” and the women of India support their families, hand-stitching cotton fabrics together and turning them into beautiful quilts, jackets, purses and scarves.  It’s colorful, machine-washable and gets softer, with wash.

We’ve carried Kantha quilts before, but these are especially nice, with hand-stitched edging that I haven’t seen before.

I especially love these “kimono” jackets and have set one aside for myself.  I love them so much that I ordered more, that are on their way.

Aren’t these jeans adorable?  Having a hard time getting Democracy jeans, in this kind of style, I turned to Jag Jeans.  I hope you love them! I’ve also ordered Jag’s white girlfriend jeans.  You may not be ready for flip flops and white jeans yet, but you just wait!!

There’s lots to see, next time you visit, including these tops that remind me of sherbert ice cream! But there’s lots to come!  As a small shop, we don’t order large quantities and the most popular styles sell out early at the shop and wholesale level…so shop early and shop often!  Hehe!

In the workshop…

We had a full class last Saturday, creating the sunflower box and tomorrow, we’ll be having some fun with this wooden “book”, with a hidden compartment.

Our Sunday workshop is full, but we still have a few spots for our popular Cozy Throw workshop, on Saturday, April 20th. This is the class where you crochet with your hands! Pretty amazing!

Mr. Wonderful and I ran for the hills, this afternoon!  I hadn’t been up since Christmas and it’s good to be here.  I won’t be kayaking, but am dreaming of warmer weather! In the mean time, I have lots of reading to do, along with Bible study, so it will be a nice get-away! Thank goodness that the most amazing shop sisters are holding down the fort, in stellar style!
