Before & After Chair June 2, 2013

At our last furniture painting class, participants gave me all sorts of brilliant ideas to grow my 7 month old business.

One of their ideas was to paint half of a piece of furniture, to show what a difference a little paint can make!

My paint line is slightly off, but that’s easy to fix. I found the chair at a thrift store and I think it’s a great way to demonstrate the impact of paint!

Keep those ideas coming!

Brilliant…you should do a window with some additional examples. FAB! Smart students.

Love it Barbara!….How is the texture of the paint when painted on fabric?

      Hi Shirley,
I didn’t paint the fabric on the chair. I just added fabric to one side of the chair pad. The background color is the same, so I can see how you’d think that!

This is an amazing article!!!I really like it. I’m sure it wasn’t like your everyday living room furniture. He said the room he laid in was completely white and the walls were lined with machines.Amazing thinking!!Thanks for your sharing.
