A Milk Paint Give Away at The Rustic Pig May 13, 2013

I sit here, talking to you, working on my second “fun size” pack of gummy bears. I purchased this packaging, thinking that it would minimize my gummy bear consumption. Fat chance!

I just have more wrappers to deal with. Think of the land fill issues, Barbara! For heavens sake!

Where was I? Oh yes, speaking of pigs, I’m sponsoring a milk paint/wax brush giveaway, over at The Rustic Pig! Claire, the darling face behind the blog, is a furniture painting mad woman!

So, if you didn’t think your Mother’s Day gifts quite hit the mark, go get yourself some paint love, over at Claire’s!

And if you gave up on winning anything, a long time ago, like I have, just order what you want and the shipping’s on me!

In other big news around The Treasured Home, furniture is flying out the door! In the first six months of business, I had to get down on one knee and plead for mercy. Now, it’s like….better! Thank you dear guardian angel!

In preparation for the big whoop-d-doo, Thursday night, (Meet the Artists) in case you’ve been asleep at the wheel, I’ve been sprucing the place up a bit! Mr. Wonderful installed a curtain rod for me today, so I could add a bit more softness to all the hard edges in the shop space.

More painters drop cloth beauty, just like the original drapes I hung to cover up my little work shop mess.

Of course a day without furniture painting, is like a day without sunshine, so I gave this old chair some two-tone love. I think she’d be real sweet with this handsome new (old) spindly desk!

Well, I guess that’s all for now. Remember to reserve your spot for Wednesday’s Free 1- Hour Paint Workshop!

I’d love to try the new mms paint color named after her cow picture. Sorry cant remember the name.

    • Barbara Bussey on May 14, 2013 at 5:57 pm

I don’t think that color’s available yet. What is that cow’s name? Eulalie, or something like it. That dear cow has been in more photographs than any cow I know! 🙂
