Hello, gorgeous!

I hope you’re having a delightful week!  We were able to head to Tahoe after closing the shop, last Saturday and Bob took this sunrise shot the next morning!

Upon our return, there were a number of deliveries, waiting for me and I’ve been busy unpacking and pricing. You all are so encouraging, with your support, which sends my fingers on shopping trips for more! 

Here’s a preview of new arrivals…

While in Baja, with the sibs recently, avocados were the star of the show!  How does this sound: Sourdough toast, with a spread of ricotta, avocado slices and a couple of fried eggs? It was delicious! It’s one of the rare things in life that’s not only yummy, but good for you too!

In my dreams, I entertain friends with style and ease. I know you know the type! Wouldn’t she love this book?

If you’re looking for a breakfast treat, how about Croissant French Toast? Costco sells croissants for a super low price and the extras freeze well, in a freezer bag.

To make breakfast for 2, I mixed 2 eggs, about 2-3 tablespoons of water, since I had no milk, 1-2 tablespoons of sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla, in a gallon size baggie. I placed 2 sliced croissants in the bag and let them soak for about 30 minutes, turning occasionally. Then heat about a tablespoon of avocado oil in a fry pan and place soaked croissant halves on medium heat, for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown. I top the croissants with butter and cinnamon sugar. Sliced strawberries would be nice.  Maple syrup would also be good. For a larger group, you can do the same thing, breaking up the croissants in a prepared 9 x 13 pan, using milk or cream instead of water. Yum!

If the stars align properly, I’ll be getting deliveries of more jewelry, like these water-proof, gold filled hoops, plus lots more… including this beautiful top, before tomorrow!

I hear rain and cooler temps are making a comeback next week, so let’s enjoy the amazing weather while we can!
