Hello dear one!

Days like this remind me of the olden days!  I must have been about 22 years old and I had convinced my boss that I was capable of moving from the order desk, to an outside sales position.  This was a straight commission job.  No car, expense account, or unnecessary frills, at the regional Sysco Food Service branch.

The first car I purchased, with help from my parents was a 1972 Pinto, stick shift, without A/C.  May I remind you that this was all before hair product and blow dryers.  (It was also before cell phones and lap tops.) So when it was hot, as it is right now, I’d be cold calling for new business with the windows open and my thin, fine hair, flying in the wind. Quite a visual!

I’m pretty sure that I opened accounts, due to sympathetic restaurant owners, who took pity on me.   It all worked out and before long, I bought a car with A/C and life was good!

Oh yes, a furniture sale!

About this time of year, I start thinking about the holiday season and our lack of space.  We’ve got some furniture pieces in the shop, that need to find a new home…like yours! So here’s the deal…if they aren’t used for display, they are all on sale, at 25% off!

For example, this French procincial dresser, which is 47” tall, 33” wide and 19” deep, is priced at $575.  On sale, the price is $431!

This painted vintage dresser is 46” wide, 21” deep and 36” high.  Priced at $565, it’s now $423!  It’s a beautiful piece with great line and can be used as a flat screen table, an entry way piece or in a bedroom.

This vintage German beer garden table is great for parties and folds up easily, thanks to great German hardware!  Priced at $783, it’s now $587!

This is a sweet, painted oak chest of drawers.  21 D x 43 wide x 28” high.  It’s shorter than many dressers and I thought it would be great for a child’s room.  Priced at $325 it’s now $244!

This antique oval coffee table (18 x 26” top, 19” high) has gotten the “star” treatment, by Cheryl.  Was $125.00 and now $94.00, on sale!

There are a few more pieces, but you get an idea about pricing.  Help us make room!  One piece of furniture is all we ask!  Haha!
