Spring Market & Sale, this Saturday! March 11, 2024
Hello, gorgeous!
It may not feel like Spring today, but it’s supposed to be in the 70’s on Saturday! Just in time for our Spring Market!
We’ll open on Saturday, at 10:30 and the first 20 customers will receive a free gift! Grab a coffee or refreshment and take a stroll!
Here’s a little preview…
I don’t know about you, but I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s. Women like Joni Mitchell, Carol King, Carly Simon and Judy Collins were idols of mine. I loved their voices, the fantasy I thought they lived and the look! I never quite pulled off the total Bohemian thing, but I’ve never stopped trying!
In their honor, we’ve tried to bring some laid-back spring time fun to the shop. In that effort, our favorite purchase at Market in January was this Kantha cloth umbrella!
Kantha translates to patch and these purses, scarves and jackets are made from vintage cotton pieces, stitched together, Most often Kantha is reversible, which we love! The companies we buy from are Fair Trade merchants, that support fair wages and working conditions for the women who create these beautiful, wearable art pieces.
Reversible bags…
Jackets and quilts…
In the boutique…
We are packed, with your favorite makers, with more on the way! In fact, we haven’t had this kind of selection, since we had the back shop space!
Shorter, wide-leg jeans…
Many of you fashionista’s have been asking for shorter, wide-leg jeans. Well, they’re here and I hope you love them!
Tea towels and runners, anyone?…
Be sure to take a look at our beautiful collection of European and domestic-made tea towels. Some of the fabrics are pretty gorgeous and always make a great house-warming gift! 100% cotton.
Well, darling, be sure to take a look at all of the new workshops we have on the calendar, including this year’s Maker Day! It’s going to be better than ever. We’ll only have room for twelve participants, so try to sign up early, since it’s already filling up! See our class calendar here!
This day light savings time is a little hard to get used to, but I love it! I had better head to dream land, so I don’t miss out on any much needed beauty sleep!
Sending love and good wishes!,
Barbara
