Happenings at the shop, this week! March 29, 2023
Hello, good looking!
Thanks to all of you who joined our Demo Day, last Sunday! We were happily packed with smiling, creative faces. Now that I’ve finally “cracked the (Inlay) code”, I’m making plans on my next project…a beautiful antique buffet, that will get this beauty on it’s center drawers.
The inlay is called “Summer Villa” and I’m excited! Before that happens, this piece needs a bit of prep work. Not my favorite part of the process, but just as important as any other step. So, stay tuned!
Just finished…
I found this piece on Facebook Marketplace, in great shape and I love the lines! It’s still in the back room, but I wanted to show you!
I used Fusion Mineral Paint, in Cashmere and Little Lamb and then used the Iron Orchid Designs stamp, called Bohemia, on the drawer fronts. What do you think?
Save on retired paint colors…
Our shelves are stocked with about fifty beautiful colors and the overflow is retired. It’s a chance for you to save 20% on these specific colors. (By the way, check out the color I just painted our color stick cabinet in. It’s called Oakham and I’m in love!
Upcoming classes…
April 6th, Thursday, 6-9 p.m., $49
Yes, you can paint this! Susanne will sketch the image on the canvas and provide step by step instruction on adding the springtime colors. 🙂
Check out all of the upcoming classes, Here!
It’s almost April and I can’t wait for sunny days. I feel like lighting my rain coat on fire! Stay well and don’t be a stranger!
