I may be looking for a needle in a hay stack, but here goes!

You know we have the worlds best team, at The Treasured Home! They keep the place humming along.  Thank goodness!  

Since clothing has become so popular at the shop, we no longer have anyone with the time or passion to really give our workshop the love and attention it deserves. And frankly, after almost ten years, I’m looking to lighten my load.  

So here are the qualities my dream angel should possess:

– Team player.  We have a cohesive team, that has two goals.  First, we want to work in a place we love, with people we enjoy. Most importantly, we want the customer to have an awesome experience and we all work to that end. No drama!

– True creative.  I mean you live to create and do it on a regular basis. Painting furniture and experimenting with different finishes, makes your heart sing.  Iron Orchid Designs is a major line at the shop, as well.  Have you used it?

– Is there a teacher in you?  Whether you’ve taught classes in the past, or not, are you up to the challenge?  Usually it’s not a whole lot more than sharing your love, for the creative process.  When you’re excited about an application, others will feed off of your energy.

– Comfortable with a computer.  While not as important as the first three things on my wish list, computers are a necessary evil and part of everyone’s day.

– Physically able to tackle the job.  Most of each day is on our feet.  Packing, unpacking and lifting is part of the day and if you paint furniture, you know it can be a bit of a work out, in itself.  

This is a part-time position, 12-18 hours a week.  Being our busiest day, Saturdays would be one of the days you’d usually need to work.  We offer fair compensation and generous employee discounts.
