Barbara’s tips for Painting Leather with Fusion Mineral Paint:
Clean your surface with a product like Fusion Mineral Paint’s TSP. Starting with a clean surface is a must for all painting projects.
Before you begin applying Fusion Mineral Paint to your surface, dampen the leather with a clean wet cloth. This will allow the leather to better accept the paint.
You will want to use a 60/40 Paint to Water mix on your leather surface. This will allow you to paint the surface with lots of thin coats of paint.
Finish your surface with Fusion Mineral Paint’s Clear Furniture Wax. The wax will leave your painted surface with a lovely glow & natural leather feel.
