News from The Treasured Home Vintage Market February 24, 2016
We got new spring and summer scarves in yesterday. The linen scarves are light as a feather! We also have a few that are quite large…as seen in the photo, above. You could wear this as a scarf, a swimming suite cover up, or even a table cloth! Take your pick!
Yes, that’s Bob’s coffe cup, you see on the asphalt. We were at the shop, last Sunday morning at 6:30 a.m., to welcome Nah, from Good Day Sacramento!
They filmed on site, right at the shop! It was worth losing a little beauty sleep over! A link to the video, is on the side of the blog, if you’d like some entertainment! (That’s Bob’s thumb, in the upper corner of the photo. I think we could both use some photography training!)
After Good Day Sacramento, we headed for Tahoe, to get a few things done, before Pavel, the tile and stone guy came on Monday, to install the backsplash. We are really happy with how it’s coming together.
Another cow hide rug came in today. I picked it out at market, last month. It’s a big one!
Last week, our daughter, Betsy, graduated from her Field Artillary training, at Ft. Sill, in Oklahoma. (That’s her, on the left!) Now she’s at Ft. Carson, in Colorado Springs and has her very first apartment! She reported to duty yesterday, but I “helped” her shop for furniture, via text. You know, it killed me to not be there! …Next time!
We just added a few more painting classes to the Calendar. Jill and I were just talking today, remembering when we had to practically beg people to sign up for classes. We are so thankful, to be at this point, in the business and for your support!
Congratulations! The local news is at your door and I hope you see a boost in folks in the door. I am just wondering if you could fit any more hours in your day? LOL.
That’s pretty cool to be on TV! I couldn’t find the link to check it out…..can you post the video?
