New at The Treasured Home November 25, 2014
Oh my! Where did November go? You too?
Hopefully, we’ll all get a breath of fresh air, between Thansgiving and Christmas
The month started out, at a fun gathering that friend and customer, Penny, had at her barn, in El Dorado Hills. What a great idea for girlfriend time!
Penny is a master flower arranger and this was her beautiful wreath! Everyone brought natural elements from their yards. The finished wreaths were beautiful and all so different!
Betsy marched in the NYYC Veteran’s Parade. This is her final year at West Point. It has been such a wonderful experience for her. I wish she could stay there forever!
I had a chance to shop a few estate sales and found a few wonderful treats, including this hand made lace.
I have several pieces and have no idea what the interest in hand made lace is, but they’re beautifully framed works of art and just may end up at our home! The same goes for this red transfer ware. I just love it!
We’ve been spending lots of time, preparing for Jesuit High School’s Christmas Tree Lane, happening this coming Monday and Tuesday.
it’s sort of like shopping for a party and wondering if anyone will come.
I try really hard to offer things that they won’t find at Macy’s or Home Goods. It’s never easy!
While every Christmas tree is beautiful in my book, our shop’s tree is so pretty! Just ask me! I added a really pretty aqua blue burlap ribbon, along with some dried hydrangea blossoms and lots of sparkly goodies.
We have two different styles of stockings! Jill drew the faux fire, for the fireplace!
Flower sacks transformed into pillow cases.
We only have two of the vintage grain sack bags, from France left, in case you were wanting one.
The girls have been using vintage drying trays, from a farm in the central valley, to make some cool signs.
Need a basket to hold greens on your front door?
Well, as you can see, there’s a real variety of gifts and vintage finds! We hope you’ll have a chance to stop by and say hello!
Blessings and pie, to you and your family, this Thanksgiving!
Everything in your shop looks terrific! Sure wish I lived closer…your tree is stunning! Blessings and lots of pie and stuffing to you too, Barbara! 😉
