When applying the hemp oil to your painted surface, work in sections.
Hemp oil can also can be used on raw wood for conditioning and protection.
When wet sanding, be sure to use a fine grit sandpaper over the hemp oil.
To make the distressing process a bit easier, you will want to sand your piece within an hour or so of painting.
Once you are finished sanding, wipe an excess hemp oil away using a paper towel or rag.
