Jill’s Tips for getting a brush stroke-free finish:
Start by properly cleaning your piece with Fusion’s TSP.
Pounce the paint into the corners and then smooth everything out with long even strokes.
Don’t try to get full coverage with our first coat of paint.
Be sure to offload any extra off of your brush before applying it to your project.
Elevate your piece so that you can easily get around all of the edges.
Don’t overwork your paint.
Clean your brush when you’re finished painting. You can use a zip lock to seal the brush between coats. Just stick it in the fridge to keep the paint fresh while you’re waiting for your coats to dry.
