The Miss Mustard Seed Paint Store Is Open For Business! September 5, 2012
Just like many of you, I’m anxiously awaiting my Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint delivery! Knowing that it won’t be long, I thought I had better open my On-Line Shop and be ready to roll!
So, (think trumpets, drum roll, dancing dogs, roaring crowds) ….
All orders placed by November 1st, will receive a 15% discount! If you’re new to Milk Paint or furniture painting, remember that there are three things you’ll need to order. The paint itself, of course, plus the bonding primer, if you don’t want your piece to “self distress” and the wax. You can use other brands of wax, if you have them on hand. While I haven’t done it myself, I understand you can use varnish over milk paint as well. The important thing is to seal the paint with a wax, oil or varnish.
I’m expecting my delivery, within the next week or two and will let you know, the moment it arrives!
Marian said that another dealer, who opened up her on-line store early for pre-orders, sold her pending inventory out on the first day per-orders were possible! This is new to all of us, so your patience is really appreciated! None of us really know what to expect, which is kind of exciting!

Just a warning…furniture painting can be addicting! 🙂 if you would have told me two years ago that I was going to be painting furniture and selling paint and opening a shop…I would have said, “really?”…in total disbelief. Thanks for your note, as always!

I am told my shipment will arrive Monday or Tuesday. I haven’t posted much about it, and won’t, until I see the UPS truck backing up! Shouldn’t be long!!
