Texas time!

I’ll be missing in action this weekend, at the shop. Four of my dear Texas girlfriends will be visiting, for an annual long weekend at Lake Tahoe. We head up early Thursday and I know we’ll have lots of laughter, good food and story telling!

In the workshop…

We’re having private class today, showing some friends how to make Christmas decor, with Iron Orchid Designs’ Frame mould.

I used Amazing Resin, instead of paper clay.  It hardens in the mould in less than ten minutes and easily pops out.  Pretty cool!

I found some beautiful little Santa paper, small enough to fit into this little 2 x 2 1/2” opening.  I was thinking that these would make great ornaments.  We’re planning to offer this class, as the season approaches. 🙂

New hours as of August!

Starting in August, instead of being open Wednesday – Sunday, we’ll be open Tuesday – Saturday and open an hour earlier.  New hours will be 10:30 – 4:00 p.m.
