This week at the shop! February 2, 2022
A week in transition…out with winter as spring clothing arrives!
I hope you’re doing great! You know, I always try to put my best foot forward, but today, I feel like a goof! How can you write a blog post, without pictures? It isn’t easy, that’s how!
I spent the whole day at the shop, moving, pushing, painting and packing. You’d think I could take a picture or two! Nope. Didn’t happen!
The season of the dress!
Maybe I can paint a word picture or two. We have the most colorful, fun knit shifts, that arrived yesterday. Perfect for this time of year, since they’re long sleeved and lined. Sizes Small to X-Large! The rep for the line says they look great with cute tennies. Who wants to wear heals, unless they’re sandals? Even then, the two of us don’t get along well!
Then there are the “happy” tops and tunics. They look “happy” to me and who doesn’t want to wear “happy”clothes!?
They’ll be darling with the Slimsation Bermudas and slacks on order. It’s a new line for the shop, that will make us look like we just went to the health club and lost ten pounds! These pants are at the same place as the new jeans I have on order. Not sure where that is, but they’ll appear soon! At least I hope so! Fingers crossed!
Two new maxi dresses and kimonos have arrived. There’s more to come. I just wish it could all come at the same time! I should honestly take credit for some of the delays. It’s just sort of a juggling match!
I have to say I’m bummed. My poor gas-guzzling Chevy Tahoe was towed to the dealer today, after my wonderful mechanic couldn’t fix the problem. If you see a “check engine” light come on, run for the hills!
I actually love this car. It may be 6 years old, but it has less than 60,000 miles on it and it still feels new to me. It also makes me feel super safe, on my 5 mile drive, to and from the shop each day. I’m that old lady that hardly drives her car. I’m just hoping it isn’t something seriously wrong with the old girl! (That’s the car, not me!)
Saturday’s class…
I’m seeking 5 of you wonderful people, to sign up for this weekend’s Decorative Urn class, this Saturday, 1-3:00 p.m. I want you to come so much, that I’ve lowered the price by $10, to $39.00, for all attendees! The project is 10 x 13” and made of galvanized metal. It’s a wall piece that would look great with a simple faux fern, on your gallery wall.
Just go to http://www.thetreasuredhome.com/classes, to sign up for this class, or any others, this spring!
Our Myra Bag Valentines Sale continues!
All bags, of any shape or size, are 25% Off!
Well, darling, it’s time to head off to dream land. By the time you read this, I’ll have jumped out of bed, my skin glowing and my hair twice as thick and shiny! It’s true, of course!
Virtual hugs and good thoughts! Show ‘em who’s boss!
XOXO
